Vivek Oberoi landed in Bulgaria recently to start filming his first Tamil movie, which is currently being referred to as Thala 57. The Bollywood actor had showed the snow-covered city in a video. Now, he has given further updates on the weather at the shooting spot.
Sharing his excitement, Vivek Oberoi tweeted, "Rhomba kulira irukku! Pls send Ajith anna, me & the team warm love & sunshine from beautiful India!". He also posted a video, in which he says, "It is fantastic here, really really cold and snowing. Amazing to catch the snowflakes. Alright, Thala 57 here we go! [sic]"
The shooting of Thala 57 is happening in Bulgaria at a brisk pace. The weather is said to be complex. But it has not affected the spirit of the team, which is working hard to wrap up the shoot at the earliest.
Coming to Vivek Oberoi's role, the actor will be seen as an antagonist. It is said to be an urban-centric character and he apparently plays an international criminal.
Ajith Kumar plays the role of a spy in Thala 57. He travels to Europe on a mission to destroy a seed that affected his homeland in India.
Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as his wife, while Akshara Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Hassan, makes her debut in Tamil movies in an important role. Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Rajendran and others play supporting roles.
The movie, which will hit the screens in April 2017, features Anirudh Ravichander's music, Vetri's cinematography and Ruben's editing.
