There is strong buzz that the name has been finalised and the makers will make it official on 15 August. The first letter of the name is said to be 'V', as films beginning with the letter have reportedly been successful in the past.

"Varalaaru" and "Vaali" are two major hits in the actor's career. Presently, the movie is called by the name "Thala 56" as it is the 56th movie of Ajith.

However, producer AM Rathnam has claimed that they are yet to finalise the movie's name. Once they lock in the title, they will have to register it to make it official. He recalls that these are mere speculations, which had hit the internet even during his earlier movie "Arrambam".

On the other hand, fans of Ajith have been waiting for the film's name to be revealed since it went on floors.

The Tamil movie will appear before the audience for Diwali. Siruthai Siva, who had directed Ajith in "Veeram", is helming the project. After "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal", it is the third movie of the producer with the actor.

"Thala 56", which has Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon and Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles, has Anirudh Ravichander's music. He is a big fan of the actor and has taken special interest in the album. The youth sensation has already composed three songs and a few more numbers are yet to be composed along with the theme tracks.
