Latest buzz in Kollywood is that actor Ajith is all set to work with "Veeram" director once again.
"Veeram," which recently completed 50 days, is still successfully running in a few theatres across Tamil Nadu.
It appears that Ajith has shown interest in working with "Veeram" director Siva for their second outing. Siva is said to be excited about the project and reportedly wants to repeat the "Veeram" team including the writers Bharathan and Boopathy Raja. The director is said to have started the scripting process for the film. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.
Post the stupendous success of "Veeram," one would expect Ajith to take a break before beginning his next project. But the actor has already shifted his focus to his next project with Gautham Menon after a surgery for an injury that he sustained while shooting for "Arrambam."
Thala Ajith is working hard to get a slim look desired for his role in the Gautham directorial. Speculations are rife that the actor will appear in the role of a cop in the film, which is not yet titled. Anushka Shetty might get paired opposite to Ajith in the film. Oscar winner AR Rahman is reportedly in talks to compose the songs. The film is expected to go on floors in the third week of March. But, an official announcement on the project is still awaited from the director.
Even before the Ajith-Gautham film could go on floors, speculations about the actor's next project have started doing the rounds. It was earlier said that Thala might team up with notable director KV Anand for a new film. Besides the "Ayan" director, Shankar's name is also making headlines. But, clarity on the actor's upcoming projects is expected only after the Gautham directorial kicks off.
