Even as Ajith's upcoming project, "Yennai Arindhaal", is not completed and his next film with director Siva is yet to go on floors, the buzz surrounding the actor's 57th film has already started doing the rounds.

Speculations are rife that Ajith might team up with director KV Anand after completing "Yennai Arindhaal" and "Thala 56." Buzz is that the director narrated a script to Ajith and the actor has reportedly given his consent. Anand is said to be finalising the script of the film, which is said to be an action thriller, according to Cinemalead.

Earlier in January, it was rumoured that Anand will be teaming up with Rajinikanth after "Kochadaiiyaan". And Ajith's name was also associated with the director as reports claimed of a possible collaboration between the actor-director duo. However, after the release of "Kochadaiiyaan", Rajinikanth has teamed up with director KS Ravikumar while Ajith is committed to Siruthai Siva's project.

Now, once again rumours have surfaced that Thala might team up with Anand for a new film. If it turns out to be true, fans will be looking forward for the collaboration as Anand is known for making trendy films with substance. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the project.

Currently, Anand is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, "Anegan," starring Dhanush and Amyra Dastur. The audio will be launched on 10 November and the romantic entertainer is expected to hit the screens by the year end.

On the other hand, Ajith is busy shooting for Gautham Menon's "Yennai Arindhaal". The film is in the final stages of shooting and is expected to be wrapped up soon. The action thriller is set to hit the screens by the end of the year or in January 2015.

After completing "Yennai Arindhaal," Ajith will be moving on with his next project with Siva. The director is busy giving final touches to the script and the film is expected to go on floors soon. While Santhanam is confirmed to be part of the project, details about the film's other cast and crew members are yet to be formally announced.

"Thala 56" is expected to be a mass entertainer similar to Ajith-Siva's last release, "Veeram." The film is likely to hit the screens next year.
