Ajith Kumar's last movie "Yennai Arindhaal" lacked fun elements and thus, the mass audience could not thoroughly enjoy the movie due to the slow nature of the narration.

It is being speculated that maybe due to this reason, Ajith Kumar has suggested Siruthai Siva, the director of his next movie that is currently being called as "Thala 56", to add enough comedy sequences in the movie. This has reportedly made the director rope in a few more actors.

The latest members to have joined the cast after Ajith's suggestion are Mottai Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, Mayilswamy, 'Lollu Sabha' Swaminathan, Thaapa and Y.Gee. The director will mainly use them for comedy sequences.

It may also be recalled that Ajith and Siruthai Siva's earlier movie "Veeram", which had a good amount of action sequences, was also loaded with comedy scenes at key stages. While Santhanam was prominent in the earlier project, Soori has been signed to play a similar kind of character in the latest flick.

On the other end, "Thala 56", which is bankrolled by AM Rathnam, has completed its first schedule of shooting in Chennai. Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon took part in the opening segment. The next schedule will begin in Kolkata, where some major portions will be shot.

In the second schedule, the key portions of Shruti Haasan, who is reportedly playing the role of a taxi driver, will be shot. Ashwin Kakamanu, Kabir Singh and others are also part of the cast.

The makers want to release "Thala 56" around Diwali. As a result, the shooting will be wrapped up without delay.
