After battling with the media for taking pot shots at her ballooning weight, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is gearing for a comeback on the big screen. However, the actress is said to be intent on working only with hubby Abhishek.

According to Bollywood Mantra, the actress has turned down many promising projects from well-known filmmakers because she wants to work opposite Abhishek and not with any other actors.

However, reports of her working only with Abhishek turned out to be false, as clarified by Aishwarya's spokesperson.

"A certain section of the media has been wrongly reporting that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would do films only with her husband in the future. This bit of news has in the past also been circulated during the time Aishwarya was getting married and at other times as well," her spokesperson said.

"We would like to state for the record and put an end to any such speculation that this information is incorrect and is a figment of someone's imagination. It's disheartening to see such tactics being employed by people threatened by her position. Aishwarya has been a complete professional and will at no point let personal equations affect the films she acts in," her spokesperson added.

Aishwarya and Abhishek were seen in more than seven films. They first appeared together in 2000 film "Dhai Akshar Prem Ke". They also co-starred in "Kuch Naa Kaho", "Dhoom 2", "Umrao Jaan", "Guru", "Sarkar Raj" and "Raavan".

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that the actress signed up for a Hollywood movie that would also star actor Billy Zane, who is known for his role in "Titanic". Such reports were slammed by her representative.

"Coincidentaly there are a few other international projects Aishwarya has been approached for but definitely not the one mentioned in the media by Daniel Silva [Billy Zane's Chimera]," her representative confirmed.
