If latest rumours are to be believed, then Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor for an upcoming film under the Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner.
According to a DNA report, Aishwarya may take up the female lead in the film which is expected to go on floors by the end of 2013.
"Aditya is casting Ranbir Kapoor in the romantic drama and he wants Ash to be RK's love interest. Ash has heard the script and is very excited about it and working with a younger hero like Ranbir," a DNA quoted a source as saying.
"She loves his choice of films and thinks he's a fabulous actor. Adi's film is one she's looking forward to working in, provided dates and money issues are sorted out."
It was also rumoured that filmmaker Aditya Chopra might don the director's cap for the project.
However, a source close to Aishwarya denied reports that YRF had approached her with the offer.
Ever, since Aishwarya made her first public appearance after giving birth to Aaradhya, rumours were afloat that she would make an announcement of her comeback. Initially, it was said that the actress would star opposite "Student of the Year" fame Varun Dhawan.
It was also rumoured that Aishwarya will be seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan's upcoming film "Happy New Year". But recent reports revealed that the actress refused to take up the project because she was not paired opposite her hubby Abhishek Bachchan who was also roped in for the project.
