Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has resumed her super glossy film career after a five-year-long hiatus. The actress and former beauty queen, who reportedly said she would take up projects once her baby girl Aaradhya is grown enough to be left by herself, has kick-started Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa".

However, according to sources husband Abhishek will take time off from work commitments to take care of their toddler. "Though she won't be there with her daughter while shooting, she is making sure everything happens as per her instructions," Bollywood Hungama quoted an insider as saying.

Additionally, it is being reported that Aish will be shooting non-stop for the thriller until April, after which she will take a break to spend time with family. However, it is only after her mini-vacation that she will begin Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Since "Jazbaa" is essentially a thriller, the gorgeous actress would have to prepare for the death-defying stunts for which she has been undergoing extensive training sessions.

"It does require a lot of action, and Aishwarya is more than capable of handling it. To me it'd have been just another new film that I am starting if it wasn't for the fact that I'm working with Shabanaji (Azmi) and Aishwarya for the first time. Something special is bound to happen," said Gupta.

Interestingly, on 12 January, Bollywood Life reported that the script-reading will begin but since Irrfan Khan has undergone a minor back surgery, the film will begin once he has recovered completely.

"Yes, Irrfan has undergone a minor surgery and has been advised bed rest. His recovery is my priority and the shoot shall commence once he is fit. I can't say anything about the exact date of the shoot but the script reading will definitely take place on Tuesday," informed Gupta.
