The much-awaited "Happy New Trailer" (HNY) is out and netizens have already gone bonkers over it. And so have Abhishek Bachchan's (who plays Nandu Bhide in the film) family.

"Aishwarya was really excited. She knows the script. Both her and dad liked the trailer very much. Aaradhya, poor thing is only two and a half years old, she doesn't really understand these things. She is very busy playing with her toys. But dad and Aishwarya liked it very much," Junior B told Bollywood Life.

After Aishwarya's stunning Cannes '14 appearance in a glittering gown, Abhishek was probably left inspired to take on new challenges. Although, in the introductory scene, the actor looks every inch a tapori (goon), his sleek avatar in a beard and tinted glasses have grabbed eyeballs.

Deccan Chronicle, however, claims that his look is copied. "One of the actor's looks in the film, seems to have been inspired by English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen's satirical fictional character 'Ali G'. From the slim beard to the tinted goggles, Abhishek's character Nandu has got the exact same look as Ali G," states the report.

Copied or not, this new avatar of the actor has definitely pushed him into the stylish-men-of-Bollywood list. Unlike the 6-pack brigade of the film industry, Bachchan has never trained hard to be able to strip on-screen. But, having the world's most beautiful woman as his wife comes with its share of advantage and looks like the younger B has taken upon himself to be in shape.

The film, which centres around a diamond heist, requires the cast to look fit to pull off high-octane action scenes and stunts. AB Jr has reportedly lost over eight kilos to look the part.

Slated for release on 23 October, Farah Khan's "HNY" stars Shah Rukh Khan(Charlie), Deepika Padukone (Mohini), Abhishek Bachchan (Nandu), Boman Irani (Tammy), Sonu Sood (Jag) and Vivaan Shah (Rohan) in the lead roles.
