Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ends Anushka Sharma's insecurity, says eager to work with 'PK' actressVarinder Chawla

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is set to scorch the silver screen with Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa", has also signed Karan Johar's next directorial "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".

The Bachchan bahu told film critic-reporter Rajeev Masand that she has been waiting to work with the successful director for years. "And before you all (media) do any masti, Anushka I am looking forward to working with you," Pinkvilla quoted the actress as saying.

This comment comes after Sharma openly said that she was the "lead actress" of Johar's next project. "We start shooting for 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' from July next year. The film is not a triangular love story and I play the female lead in the film. I am very excited to start shooting for the film," the "PK" actress told Bollywood Life.

However, Aish's statement will hopefully put an end to Sharma's insecurities.

Speaking at length about life, motherhood, movies and more, the Bachchan bahu said how she knows her to-be co-star Kapoor well before he set foot into the film industry. "Aa Ab Laut Chalen", a Rishi Kapoor directorial, was when Aish spent a lot of time knowing the Kapoor scion.

The former beauty queen who till date doesn't believe in shuffling around with dates already given to filmmakers said that she had turned down Tina's role in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" because she had prior work commitments.

"Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" too reportedly came by after Johar made repeated narrations eventually sending her a text mentioning how he wouldn't be able to make the film without her. However, according to Sharma, Mrs. B has an "interesting and different role" in the film.

The gorgeous actress, who has been busy tending to her toddler Aaradhya Bachchan of late, will be back on the big screen after a 4-year-long hiatus. Her last film was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Guzaarish" alongside Hrithik Roshan.
