Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Comeback: Actress to Take Up Hollywood Project?

Soon after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's post-baby weight gain garnered nationwide criticism, a fresh discussion on her comeback plan cropped up after several reports suggested that the actress might be taking up small projects after the birth of her first child Aaradhya.

Though the actress' main focus is her daughter as of now, fans have constantly voiced their desire to see her back in action. As not one to dissappoint her large fan base, Aishwarya is expected to hit the silver screen with a bang, reports said.

According to the latest buzz, the former Miss World will make a comeback in a Hollywood movie starring actor Billy Zane, who played the role of Kate Winslet's fiancé in Titanic.

"Ash has been approached by director Daniel Silva for his upcoming film that also stars Billy Zane, TV actress Sarah Khan and singer Lucky Ali," Mid Day cited a source as saying.

The reports were apparently confirmed by Sara Khan, a television actress, who told a daily tabloid: "I have signed the film. I have been told the makers have approached Aishwarya. We will start shooting in Los Angeles from September 13, 2012. It's a thriller film and I am playing Billy's wife."

Sarah Khan is an Indian model and actress who won the Miss Madhya title in 2007. Khan rose to fame with her first television role as "Sadhna" in a show titled "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai".

Though Aishwarya continued to remain tight-lipped on her pending comeback, she is currently focused on getting back in shape to do the kind of roles she did prior to the birth of her daughter last year.

It's also reported that the actress might be planning to do a film with a well-known director, who is known for showing actresses in challenging roles.
