The audio launch of Vikram's "Ai", which is set to happen on 15 September, will be a grand affair with the presence of several film celebrities.

There have been reports that Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be attending the audio launch of "Ai," while Jackie Chan will be releasing the music of the film's Telugu version "Manoharudu."

Latest buzz is that several Tamil film celebrities might also be attending the music release on 15 September. Apparently, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vijay have been invited for the grand event. Reliable sources have told Only Kollywood that Kamal and Vijay have given their nod to attend the event. Rajinikanth is expected to soon confirm his participation in the launch event, the website stated.

However, an official announcement as to who would be attending the grand audio launch is yet to come from the film's makers.

"Ai" music is composed by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman. Fans will reportedly be getting to see the film's teaser during the audio launch on 15 September.

"Ai," which has been in the making for nearly two years, is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the film's first look teaser. A few days ago, "Ai" producer Aascar Ravichandran gave a glimpse of the film's teaser to the media. Vikram reportedly appears in different get-ups in the film, including that of a stylish looking guy, a hulk, a werewolf and a disfigured man.

Amy Jackson plays his romantic interest, while bollywood actor Upen Patel and Malayalam star Suresh Gopi are also part of the cast.

The film's shooting is almost completed with only a song left to be shot. The post-production work is going on at a brisk pace. Buzz is that major portions of the film, touted to be a romantic thriller, are set in China.

"Ai" will be Vikram's first release of the year. The actor has been going through a rough phase as some of his past releases, including "Rajapattai," "David" and "Thaandavam", failed to hit the set cash registers ringing.

Expectations are sky high for "Ai" as Vikram has teamed up with director Shankar for the second time after "Anniyan" in 2006. The romantic thriller is scheduled to hit the screens for diwali in October. However, it will be clashing with Vijay's "Kaththi", which is also confirmed to release for the festival of lights.
