Popular onscreen couple Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid of "Diya Aur Baati Hum", who had a bitter equation offscreen, seem to have reconciled.
The reel-life couple recently recorded their first dubsmash together. In the video, posted by Deepika on her instagram account, Anas is seen lip-syncing the famous dialogue of Shah Rukh Khan from "Devdas". Deepika's expression in the clip is hilarious.
A few months ago, the onscreen married couple were in the news when Deepika slapped Anas on the sets when the latter touched the actress inappropriately while shooting for a scene.
Apparently, Suraj (Anas's onscreen character) was supposed to hold Sandhya (Deepika's onscreen character) from behind, but mistakenly, touched her from the front, which led to an uncomfortable moment for the actress.
When Deepika complained about it to the director, Anas intervened and the duo soon engaged in a heated argument. The actor apparently abused Deepika, which irked her so much that she smacked her co-star.
When efforts by the show's cast and crew to make peace between the two went in vain, CINTAA (The Cine and TV Artistes Association) had to intervene to sort matters out. Reportedly, the duo later hugged each other and decided to let bygones be bygones.
