This year seems to have begun on a wrong note for some prominent names in Bollywood.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's injury was in the headlines recently as a door fell on the actor during the shoot of Farah Khan's "Happy New Year". The 48-year-old star escaped with a wounded right shoulder and left knee.

Despite being wounded, the "Chennai Express" star attended a wedding at Udaipur on Thursday. The actor, however, was on crutches.

Following SRK's injury, reports of Arshad Warsi evading a near-fatal injury surfaced. The "Munna Bhai MBBS" actor fell down, after hitting a metal trolley but a strategically placed mattress cushioned his fall, avoiding an major damage.

"Big thank you to all of you who care for me. I am fine & under observation. All I can say is I was very lucky, I think God really loves me," Warsi posted on Twitter on Friday.

Meanwhile, actress Ameesha Patel also had some tough luck as she stumbled down the stairs during the shoot of her new film and suffered injuries to her arms and legs. She has been advised bed rest by the doctors.

There were also reports of an unfortunate incident on Vishal Bhardwaj's Kashmir shoot of "Haider." Allegedly some miscreants threw a fire pot at Shahid Kapoor and Irrfan Khan during the filming.

Accidents on film sets are happening to be a common occurrence now. Early last year Hrithik Roshan suffered a major head injury during the first schedule of "Bang Bang".  The megastar had to undergo a corrective surgery, followed by treatment in the States.

Ranveer Singh has always had bad luck when it comes to injuries. He suffered a back injury during the shoot of "Lootera", got stitches after receiving a deep gash on his cheeks and hurt himself again on broken glasses during the filming of "Gunday". The "Ram-leela" shoot also left him with injured fingers.
