Malayalam actress Rekha Mohan was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in Kerala's Thrissur district on Saturday, November 12. It comes just a day after television actress Sabarna Anand's death made the headlines.
The incident came to light after Rekha's husband, who is in Dubai, reportedly requested the security personnel to check the apartment as he was unable to contact her. Rekha's body was reportedly spotted leaning on a table in the room.
The actress' body has been kept at the medical college in Thrissur and Viyyur police have registered a case. Rekha is known for her roles in Malayalam movies Udyanapalakan, Nee Varuvolam and Yathramozhi, and a few television serials, including Sthreejanmam.
On Friday, popular actress Sabarna Anand aka Suguna was found dead at her residence in Semmathamman Nagar in Chennai. It is understood that the decomposed body of the 29-year-old, suspected to have died three days ago, was found on November 11. The investigators have revealed that she had left a suicide note, in which she wrote about her personal problems.
