Priyanka Chopra, who is riding high with the success of her recently released "Mary Kom", has already started shooting for her next.

Chopra, who plays the supporting yet important role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani" starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took to Twitter to share a glimpse of her royal look.

Interestingly, the picture only has Chopra's hand, wearing a huge ring and bangles, which has undoubtedly increased the curiosity of her fans who are waiting to see her in a complete royal outfit.

From cut muscles with rough and tough look in "Mary Kom", Chopra has completely transformed herself to get into the skin of her character Kashibai in the upcoming period drama. Moreover, this is the first time in Chopra's career that she will be portraying a royal queen.

The period-drama is based on the love story of warrior Peshwar Baji Rao, who served as Peshwa to the fourth Maratha Chhatrapati (emperor) Shahu from 1720 until his death and his second wife, Mastani.

Singh plays the role of Maratha general Baji Rao while Padukone will be seen as Baji Rao's second wife, Mastani. Chopra will portray Rao's first wife, Kashibai.

"Bajirao Mastani" will essentially revolve around Singh and Padukone, but the story of the troubled first wife Kashibai plays an important part in the film.

The film will also mark the sizzling pair Singh and Padukone back on-screen after they charmed the audience in Bhansali's previous blockbuster "Ram-Leela" (2013).

Now, Chopra and Padukone, who are B-town's good friends, will share the screen space for the first time.

"Bajirao Mastani" is Bhansali's dream project, which he has been planning to make for over a decade. The film will be shot extensively across Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and is slated to release worldwide on December 2015.
