Filmmaker Prakash Jha, who is popular for his socio-political films has apparently approached Katrina Kaif for his next.

Kaif, who has earlier worked with the filmmaker in "Raajneeti" (2010), in which she was critically acclaimed, is now approached for "Raajneeti 2" and Jha's another project "Satsang", reported DNA.

With so many offers from Jha, it appears like the actress has become the filmmaker's new favourite after Ajay Devgn, who has worked in several Jha's films.

While "Raajneeti 2" will exclusively revolve around politics, "Satsang" is based on spiritual practices followed in India.

Although the actress is keen on working with the director, she is yet to give her nod to the films.

But if the deal is sealed, it would be a visual treat for her fans to see the actress reprising her strong character in "Raajneeti".

However, it now remains to be seen if Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal join the sequel of the political superhit film.

On the other hand, Devgn has already given his nod to "Satsang" and if Kaif too agrees, both "Action Jackson" actor and the "Bang Bang" actress will be teaming up for the second time after the success of "Raajneeti".

Meanwhile, the actress is riding high with the success of her recent release "Bang Bang" and is busy shooting for Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" opposite alleged beau Ranbir. The team has recently finished the film's shooting in Thailand and will soon head to Manipur for the next schedule.

The leggy lass will also be seen Saif Ali Khan starrer "Phantom", a counter-terrorism drama film, which is scheduled to hit the screens on 3 April 2015. Moreover, she will soon start working for Abhishek Kapoor directorial "Fitoor" opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
