After the blockbuster film "Drishyam", superstar Mohanlal and Meena are joining hands for an upcoming untitled family entertainer.
The news was announced by production banner Weekend Blockbuster on its Facebook page on Wednesday, 9 December.
"The Wonder duo of Malayalam Cinema is back..!! Presenting to you the heroine of our movie... Meena together with The Complete Actor Mohanlal in a fun filled family entertainer, (sic)" Weekend Blockbuster posted on Facebook.
Helmed by Jibu Jacob of "Vellimoonga" fame, the upcoming film is written by Sindhuraj.
The film will be produced by Sophia Paul, who entered the Malayalam film production industry with the blockbuster "Bangalore Days".
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is awaiting the release of his action film "Pulimurugan", directed by Vysakh.
He will be next seen in Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Telugu-Malayalam bilingual "Manamantha" with Gautami Tadimalla, S P Balasubramaiam, Naresh, Urvasi and Nedumudi Venu.
Reports also suggest he will be part of Junior NTR-Koratala Siva's Telugu film "Janatha Garage", in which he will be seen as the young superstar's father.
