Following the footsteps of Apple with the popular "Back to School" sale, which it holds on Macbooks, Asus has announced a similar offer on its range of notebooks, desktops and all-in-one PCs. This is not the first time Asus is offering the "Back to School" sale as the company's regional head for South Asia, Peter Chang, pointed that it is the success of the previous installment in June that encouraged the company to re-launch the offer on a larger scale.

This time, we have included greater rewards and exclusive gift packages for both – students & young professionals, giving them a chance to win big without having to worry about expenses," Chang said in a statement.

Asus' "Back to School" offer started from Aug 5 and runs till Aug 25. Under the new offer, customers purchasing any Asus Notebook with two years warranty can avail goodies worth Rs. 4,690. Customers can also avail goodies worth Rs. 5,990 for purchasing notebooks with one-year default warranty and goodies worth Rs. 5,400 for buying desktops and all-in-one PCs.

In order to avail these offers, customers must pay a nominal fee of Rs. 299 and Rs. 599 for respective product categories.

The offers are available on select models running Core i3 processor with operating system and above, and Core i3 processor with DOS and below Non Discrete Graphics. Customers who buy notebooks with the two years warranty get an additional two years of accidental damage protection worth Rs. 1,690, while notebooks with one year warranty get an additional two years warrant extention pack worth Rs. 2,990.

Finally, those who buy desktops and AiOs stand a chance to win a ZenPower battery worth Rs. 2,499. Regardless of any notebook, desktop or AiOs that you buy on offer, Asus is offering Goibibo travel voucher worth Rs. 3,000.

Asus is also conducting a lucky draw contest, where customers stand a chance to win cruise, motorcycles, gaming consoles, and bluetooth headsets. The winners, which will be selected from a pool of participants, will be announced within 20 days after the offer ends.
