Shah Rukh Khan is in cloud nine after the trailer of his upcoming film "Happy New Year" launched on 14 August, garnered overwhelming responses from its audience.

The entire "Happy New Year" team, during the music launch of the movie, interacted with the media revealing more about the big-budget film.

Shah Rukh, when asked about Aamir's nude poster, commented in his witty style, "Abhi hum bhi kar rahe hain, bina kapdo ke poster...sab ke saath. (Now, we are also going to have a poster without clothes, with everyone)", reported The Times of India,

However, the "Chennai Express" actor quickly clarified that he has no intension to compare his poster with that of Aamir's "P.K.".

"I don't deal with comparisons. Their poster is theirs, our poster is ours. Their movie is theirs and our movie is ours. Between us we must be knowing all the actors well enough to wish them well, wish ourselves well. There is no comparison. Comparison is in the minds of people who want to compare." said Shah Rukh.

"Competition happens with your last job, with your last work...to make your today and tomorrow better than yesterday. If you are going to compete with others, it is never going to work. It is the job of people who do not believe in themselves." SRK added.

He further stressed that he wishes every film to do well at the box office as it aims to entertain the audience. SRK even prays that his upcoming movie too performs well and moves parallel with other films at the box office.

The trailer launched ahead of Independence Day, opened on a grand note. Music maestro Vishal-Shekhar, who has composed the music for the film, performed on a specially composed version of the "Happy New Year" track, "Indiawaale". The stage performance was followed by a fashion show hosted by Manish Malhotra, in which the entire cast walked the ramp in graceful outfits.

"Happy New Year" is slated to release worldwide on 23 October and other cast members of the movie, includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles.
