Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been struggling to give at least one hit film for years now. After "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani," most of his films didn't do too well, but the recent buzz is that Ranbir will direct a film under his home production RK Films.
Established by and named after Raj Kapoor, the film production company has not produced many films. And, Ranbir wants to direct and act in a film under the RK Films banner. However, the actor has not decided whether he wants to do both or choose direction over acting, or vice versa.
"At this juncture, he is looking at whether he wants to both direct and act, because that may be too much of a responsibility all at one go. He may just act in the RK film and let one of his friends direct the project," DNA quoted a source as saying.
At present, Ranbir is working on two projects, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" (ADHM) and "Jagga Jasoos." He will be seen sharing screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in Karan Johar's film "ADHM."
According to reports, Ranbir will be seen romancing Aishwarya in the film. "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is about a man falling in love with an older woman. Fawad Khan will also appear in the film as DJ named Ali.
On the other hand, Ranbir will appear opposite ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos." Though they have reportedly parted ways, they have to remain on cordial terms at the professional front.
A few days ago, a photo clicked on the sets of "Jagga Jasoos" was doing the rounds on social media. It was the first picture that featured the two together post-break-up and one could sense the awkwardness between the two.
