Former England international footballer Adam Johnson was highly-rated back in his heydays. The ex-Manchester City and Sunderland winger no doubt had a good future but going by his ramblings these days, we feel this 29-year-old is pathetic and making matters worse for himself.

Johnson was sentenced to six years in imprisonment last March after being found guilty of indulging in sexual activities with a 15-year-old girl; 16 is the age of consent in England.

Now that he is in prison, Johnson is making jaw-dropping statements that might leave his close associates and friends in dismay. A day after mentioning that he wished he raped (yes you read that right) the teenager, Johnson has revealed that he banged two famous TV personalities.

However, he didn't name the celebs.

The footages from the HM Prison Moorland near Doncaster have been taken by British tabloid The Sun.

Latest reports on Saturday morning said that Johnson has been shifted to a segregation unit of the prison over fears he would be attacked for his distasteful claims.

"He has made himself a massive target with his comments. He is already on the sex offenders' wing, but even among that hated group he has hit a new low," The Sun quoted a source as saying. "These comments are so disgusting that there are fears someone is going to have a go at him," the source further said.

A prison service spokeswoman, meanwhile, told the BBC that the authorities are probing the footages. "An investigation is under way. Those who break the rules will be punished and can face extra time behind bars," she said.

Sun bashing

Some users on Twitter slammed the controversial British tabloid, saying it actually paid money to one of Johnson's prison inmates for the claims.
