Actress Shanthi Krishna, a familiar face for Tamil and Malayalam audience, has reportedly separated from her husband Bajore Sadasivan, putting an end to their 18-year-old relationship. The latest reports suggest that the couple filed for divorce on mutual consent at a family court in Bengaluru.
Shanthi Krishna got married to Kollam-based Sadasivan, an entrepreneur, who is also the Director and Secretary of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology in Bengaluru since 1998. The couple has two children.
It is understood that the actress, who was staying away from the limelight after her second marriage, will make a comeback to the entertainment industry soon. Shanthi was previously married to actor Sreenath in 1984. However, the couple called it quits after 11 years in 1995. In 2010, Sreenath was found dead at a hotel where he is said to have committed suicide for unknown reasons.
The divorce news of Shanthi Krishna has hit the headlines soon actor Bala and playback singer Amrutha Suresh appeared at the family court in Kaloor in Kerala for counselling. The duo, who also have a three-year-old daughter Avantika, is getting separated after six years of their married life. Meanwhile, actress Divya Unni had recently confirmed on parting ways with her husband Dr. Sudhir Sekharan following South Indian actress Amala Paul and director AL Vijay.
