Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan turned 40 on Friday, 5 February. The actor shared a picture on his Instagram where he, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya are seen holding hands, while his father Amitabh Bachchan shared on Facebook a family photo with the caption: "The family that stays together .. sails together ..!!" 

It was earlier reported that the Bachchan family had planned to celebrate Abhishek's birthday in Maldives. Several pictures shared by the birthday boy and Big B on social media gave a glimpse of their relaxing vacation.

Abhishek is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film "Housefull 3." The comedy flick will star Akshay Kumar, Abhishek, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.

Abhishek will be playing the character of a budding rapper in the sequel of "Housefull." Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, a major portion of the film has been shot in London and the film is slated to be released this year.

As a birthday gift to Junior Bachchan, the makers have revealed the first look of Abhishek in "Housefull 3."
