Even as fans are eagerly waiting for the release of SS Rajamouli directorial "Baahubali 2" (Baahubali: The Conclusion), the latest reports suggest that the film will clash with Aamir Khan's "Dangal" at the box office.

Rumour has it that the makers of "Baahubali 2" are mulling over releasing it around Christmas 2016, which is the same time when Aamir's film is scheduled to release, reported Deccan Chronicle.

If the rumours are to be believed then it appears like the earnings of "Dangal" might get affected by Rajamouli's film, considering that the audience is eagerly waiting for the sequel of the hugely successful film "Baahubali".

Meanwhile, the shooting of "Baahubali 2" that got delayed due to the pre-production work is expected to begin from December.

On the other hand, Aamir, who is currently shooting for "Dangal" in Ludhiana, will be essaying the role of the famous wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who is the father of wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat.

Recently, Aamir's remark on "rising intolerance" in India triggered a massive controversy and the actor was heavily criticised on social media.

While it remains to be seen if the two films clash at the box office in 2016, this year, Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol's "Dilwale" and Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's "Bajirao Mastani" will clash at the box office on 18 December.
