Junaid Khan's acting career is far from taking off. After the failure of 'Loveyapa', his next film – 'Ek Din' has also tanked at the box office. Starring Aamir Khan's son, Junaid and Sai Pallavi; 'Ek Din' opened to poor response. Neither the critics nor the audience seemed to have loved the film. And it has impacted Aamir Khan.
Directed by Sunil Pandey, the film also marked Sai Pallavi's debut in Bollywood. The film was produced by Aamir Khan Productions. Junaid has now revealed that the film's failure has left Aamir Khan moping. He added that Bollywood's 'Mr Perfectionist' takes a film's failure quite personally and gets really bothered by it.
Aamir moping over Ek Din's failure

"Yaa film's not done well. We were hopeful but I guess it didn't do well. Hota hai kabhi kabhi. It's a film that I really liked and enjoyed. A lot of people did really like it but I guess most people didn't really like it. It happens sometimes," he told Vickey Lalwani.

Further talking about Aamir Khan's mental state, he said that he has taken the failure of the film quite seriously. "He is still moping. Even after all these years, after seeing all of it, it still really bothers him. But he keeps himself busy and goes back out there and does it all over again. He takes a film's failure very personally, especially when he likes the film," Junaid shared.
Why no more scripts to Aamir
Junaid also said that he was scheduled to start with 'Ek Din' much before his previous releases – 'Maharaja' or 'Loveyapa'. But, when Aamir took to producing it, the film got immensely delayed.
"Papa is a fantastic producer, but what ends up happening is it takes 5 years to make it. So then I realised that if I take it to dad, he will be like I will produce it and then I will have one film in 5 years. Which is great for him, but I am just starting out. Dad is dying to make another film with me, but I am like, in a bit. He gets nervous when he's not in charge," he clarified.
