Superstar Aamir Khan seemed quite pleased with Kangana Ranaut's latest release "Queen".

Ranaut has received praises from all quarters for her par excellence performance as the plain Jane small-towner in the Vikas Bahl-directed flick. Industry folks have come out voicing the film in high regards, which centres round the actress' titular character.

Adding to the list of accolades, the perfectionist Khan now has labelled "Queen" as an extraordinary film and lauded Ranaut's meticulous performance.

"What a film!!! Guys you have to watch QUEEN !!! Anyone, who hasn't seen it please go now and see it. Such an important film for every girl, every woman to watch... and in fact every male to watch too! Thank you to Vikas Bahl and his team which made the film. And Kangana... you rock!!! Love a.," posted the "Dhoom 3" actor on his social networking sites on Monday.

Khan's praise could work in the film's favour since "Queen" has been facing hiccups in its box office collections, despite getting fantastic reviews. The first day collections of the film, which released this Friday, stood at mere ₹1.75 crore nett.

However, this is not the first time that Khan is promoting others' films via his social network. Prior to "Jai Ho" release, the actor recommended the film as an act of friendly gesture towards friend and contemporary Salman Khan. He was also seen backing Rajkummar Rao's "Shahid" last year.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor appeared quite enthralled after watching "Queen".

"I wish I get to play a character as strong and entertaining as Queen. I couldn't think of one thing to change and totally loved the film," the "Barfi!" actor told Times of India.

"QUEEN is the most fun I have had at the movies in a very long time!!!! Vikas bahl is a STAR!! And Kangana is beyond Brilliance!!! LOVED it..." Karan Johar had tweeted.
