Aamir Khan is currently in news for his upcoming movie "Dangal", the shooting of which will start on 1 September. The actor has been prepping hard for the role and is now ready to commence shooting for the same, stated a statement.
Aamir Khan will play the role of legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in "Dangal" and the actor has gained a lot of weight to fit into the role. After having a toned body for his last release "PK", Aamir has turned 90 kilos for the movie "Dangal".
The makers have a long shoot schedule and the filming will take place mainly in Punjab and Haryana. The team of "Dangal" will also have shooting at Kila Raipur, the place where Rural Olympics, popularly known as Kila Raipur Sports Festival, happens every year.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" happens to be a biopic on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat and Aamir will be seen as a father of two daughters. Newcomers, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, will play the role of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari respectively, the wrestler's daughters who also happen to be wrestlers.
Recently, it was announced that popular TV actress Sakshi Tanwar will be seen as Aamir Khan's wife in the film. The film is expected to be released in December 2016.
