Amidst controversies and speculations, Karthi's much-awaited "Komban" is set for release on 1 April evening. Though, the movie had its initial glitches, the sources close to the industry now say that the controversy has in turn helped the movie to be publicised in a better way. This has now raised the expectations over the film.
Written and directed by Muthaiah, the cast include Lakshmi Menom, Rajkiran, Super Subbarayan and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles.
"Komban' is produced by Gnanavel Raja, SR Prakashbaby and SR Babu under the banner of Studio Green.

Moreover, the trailer has confirmed that the film will have elements of romance highlighted by remarkable performances of Lakshmi Menon and Karthi.

The major highlight of the movie is said to be its strong screenplay. The film is shot in highly engaging manner by Muthaiah, known for his previous project, "Kutti Puli". Moreover, reports are that the director has added some incidents in his life to add to the realistic feel of the movie.
