Visakhapatnam, Feb 18 (ANI): As many as 21 Maoist cadres surrendered before police and 5 other were arrested in Andhra Pradesh, said a senior officer in Visakhapatnam. The Superintendent of Police, Vikram Jeet Duggal, said five rebels were arrested also. The government has launched various schemes to lure cadres from Maoists fold. The Maoists say they are fighting for the rights of millions of landless tribal people. Apart from prisoner releases, the Maoists have also demanded an end to tourism in parts of the state where tribals live.
