Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled the face-lifted version of the Grand i10, which is called just i10 in the European market, in images. The new i10 will make its public debut at the 2016 Paris motor show.

The new i10 comes with a younger feel highlighted by the changes in the front. Hyundai calls the new front grille as Cascading grille characterised by its curved flowing line and will become the new identity for Hyundai models in the future. The hatchback gets reworked front bumper and a set of new funky round LED daytime running lights have been positioned at the top edges of the grille. On the rear, new i10 sports beefed up bumper design, a new black inlay and round rear fog lamps complementing the design change in the front. Redesigned side mouldings and newly designed 14-inch steel or alloy wheels rounds off the fresh profile of the new i10.

The interior is spruced up with a new seven-inch touch screen system featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation. The upholstery has been updated with dual tone finish in Black and Red. Customers can now additionally choose from blue, orange, beige and black interior colours on all trims.

The Euro-spec version will retain the 1.0-litre and 1.25-litre petrol engines mated to the choice of either with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The hatchback also boasts of Front Collision Warning System (FCWS) and a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS).

Hyundai India has also started working on the facelifted version of the Grand i10 and test mules under camouflage were spotted in Chennai recently. The India-spec version of the i10 is also expected to get design upgrades in line with the Euro-spec. The features will be toned down for India and the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.1-litre diesel will be retained.
