Finally, the wait is over. Chevrolet pulled the wraps off its highly anticipated sixth generation Camaro, which will lock horns with the muscle-car, Ford Mustang.
Thinner and lighter in its new avatar, the new Chevvy Camaro will be available in 10 exterior colour choices and five interior colour combinations. Above all, the most intriguing part lies under the hood as the new Camaro will be offered with six different power-train combinations.
While the standard variants feature 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo engine, which is tuned to churn out 275hp peak power. Camaro LT variant is powered by a 3.6 litre V6 engine that can generate 335hp power. There is also top of the range Camaro SS, which gets 6.2 litre V8 engine that can churn out 444hp of power with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
In its new 2016 avatar too, Chevrolet Camaro has taken the world car lovers by surprise. Seated on a wheelbase 2,811mm, 2016 Camaro measures 4,784mm in length, 1,897mm in width and 1,348mm in height.
The interior of the new Chevvy model come with all bells and whistles featuring 8-inch HD instrument cluster display with MyLink infotainment system in addition to the 8-inch display on the centre of the instrument panel. There is also interior LED ambient lighting which will give 24 different colours and electronic parking brake.
