German luxury car maker Volkswagen has revealed its new updated Vento facelift for the Indian market with changes to the exterior and interior of the model.

Volkswagen Vento facelift, the model which is expected to be in the market in coming weeks, has received thorough updates in its new avatar. However, mechanically, the new Vento facelift remains the same as the current model.

Powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine, which can churn out 103.5bhp power @4,400rpm and 250Nm of peak torque @1,500-2,500rpm with five-speed manual transmission and seven-speed DSG automatic and 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre MPI engines, new Volkswagen Vento facelift will compete with the likes of Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna 4S.

From a visual stand point, the new Vento facelift gets new front bumper with Passat-like grille and square shaped fog lamps, reports Auto Car India. At the back too, Vento facelift received significant changes like re-worked bumper with thick chrome strip and refreshed tail lamps. The side profile of the Vento remains almost the same and shows newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels.

Coming to the interior of the new Volkswagen Vento facelift, there is a dead pedal, auto-folding electronically adjustable ORVMs, Cruise control and cooled glovebox.
