Tata Motors unveiled a sporty version of its hatchback Bolt at the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Dubbed Bolt Sport, the new version of Bolt, looks stylish in its new avatar with changes in its rear and front ends. The front bumper of the Bolt has been tweaked a little to give it a sporty touch with new front grille, and projector headlamps. The side profile of the new Bolt Sport includes side skirting and 17-inch split-six-spoke alloy wheels.
The interior of Bolt Sports comes donned in black leather with red contrast stitching and red accent on gear knob and dashboard. The steering wheel gets a leather touch and there is also sunroof. Bolt's multi-driving modes Eco, City and Sport are intact in the new Bolt Sport.
The new Bolt Sport uses the same 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol engine, but has been tweaked a little to pump out a power of 120 hp max power @ 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm peak torque @ 2,000 – 3,500 rpm. Transmission comes from a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the safety front, Bolt Sport features ABS, Corner Stability Control, and dual airbags.
The 2015 Geneva Motor Show also saw the unveiling of Tata Hexa which is based on the Aria platform. In terms of dimension, Tata Hexa measures 4764mm in length, 1895mm in width, 1780mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2850mm.The Hexa is powered by 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, VARICOR diesel engine which can generate 157PS of power and 400Nm of torque.
