With the new Mahindra Scorpio facelift launch is all confirmed for 25 September, many auto enthusiasts in the country are all geared to place their hands onto the steering wheel of new SUV. Now tickle your fancy, a new report has emerged on the cyber space, detailing the variants and features of the upcoming Scorpio facelift.

The new Mahindra Scorpio facelift will come with diesel engine and will hit the market in six variants - S2, S4, S6, S6+, S8 and S10.

As per the leaked document published by the IndianAutos Blog, the new Scorpio facelift will have "3rd Generation" chassis, new dashboard, instrument cluster and new headlights and tail lights. In addition to this, the SUV will also get black tail light cladding.

The new Scorpio facelift S2, the base variant will get features like AC, power steering, micro hybrid, central locking, power windows, black colour door handles and 15-inch steel wheels.

The next variant, Scorpio S4, will come with all the features of S2 in addition to that there will also be tiltable steering, fabric upholstery , 5MT 320 gearbox and 4×4 with Shift-on-Fly.

And the S6 variant of Scorpio facelift will accommodate remote central locking, rear wiper and defogger, middle row sliding seat, armrest, 2-DIN music system, body colored door handles, OVRMs, bumpers and spoilers.

The Mahindra Scorpio S6 Plus carries over the features of S6, but gets airbag and ABS. On top of all the features on the S6 plus trim, the Scorpio S8 gets electrically adjustable wing mirrors, voice assist system, projector headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels and silver skid plate.

The top variant of Scorpio facelift S10 gets infotainment system with GPS, projector headlights with advanced static bending technology, micro hybrid technology, 4×4 with Shift-on-Fly (optional), rain and light sensors, steering mounted audio and cruise control, driver seat height adjustment, automatic AC, LED 'eyebrows', chrome package for grille and AC vents.

The bookings for Scorpio facelift are already under way with an advance payment of ₹20,000 and the SUV is expected to get a price tag in the range of ₹8-13 lakh.
