Chhattisgarh/ Uttar Pradesh/ Maharashtra, April 23 (ANI): Security forces across various states in India held marches as a safety measure for the sixth phase of polling in the ongoing general election. The sixth phase of election will be held on April 24 where voters of 117 constituencies in nation’s 11 states and one Union Territory would go to polls. Police Commissioner of Mumbai, Rakesh Maria, said the police are totally prepared to hold free and fair elections in the western city. Meanwhile, Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh, Sunil Kujur said 10.18 million people will vote for seven parliamentary constituencies in the province on April 24.
