Mumbai, March 1 (ANI): The much awaited trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt directed 2 States is out. The makers of the film launched the first look at a grand event held in Mumbai. Present at the event was the author of the book 2 states Chetan Bhagat, along with producers Sajid Nadiadwala & Karan Johar, director Abhishek Varman actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. On the occasion overwhelmed Chetan Bhagat said that he was happy the way film has turned up. While lead actor Arjun Kapoor said that he is extremely grateful to be a part of the film. Based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, the film is a story of two IIM graduates who fall for each other. However, their cultural differences stand in the way. While Alia is seen as a Tam-Brahm girl, Arjun plays a suave punjabi boy. The film is slated for an April 18th release.
