The makers of 2.0 (Enthiran 2), starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, recently revealed the first look of the characters in the film. Akshay, who is probably the first male Bollywood actor to do a Tamil film, almost looks unrecognisable in the first look.

The actor plays the main antagonist in the film and the poster reveals his ferocious avatar in the movie. The actor completely nails it as an evil man. While fans are raving about Akshay's look, Bollywood celebrities are no different either.

Celebrities like Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and others took to their Twitter handles to praise the actor's look in the Tamil science-fiction movie.

Prakash Jha: "Eyes on everything! No escape from the Devil."

Riteish Deshmukh: "What an amazing first look Sundi."

Sidharth Malhotra: "What an Awesome! Evil look brother."

Ritesh Sidhwani: "What a fabulous first look. Can't wait to watch this one."

Sajid Khan: "Outstanding Sundi! This is going to be epic entertainment. Two superstars versus each other. Rajnikanth and you. Shankar's biggest yet."

Bhumi Pednekar: "Oh my God, Akshay Kumar this right away gave me the creeps. Evil definitely has a new face and it's brilliant. Super excited."

Maniesh Paul: "This is next level boss! Akshay Kumar sir! Wish you all the luck."

A sequel to the 2010 Tamil blockbuster Enthiran, 2.0 is being made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore. While Akshay will be seen as an eccentric scientist called Richard, megastar Rajinikanth returns as scientist Vaseegaran. The film, which is directed by S Shankar, also features Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. It is scheduled for release on Diwali next year.
