"The Voice" USA 2014 will be trimmed to just eight contestants on Tuesday, with two of the top 10 to be sent home, based on the votes they get from the audience after Monday's live performances.

Tuesday's episode of "The Voice" will start at 8:00 pm EST on NBC Television (6.30 am IST, Wednesday). Contestants in the bottom three will be made to perform again tonight, before the audience chooses one of them through Instant Save.

Last week saw Dani Moz and Tess Boyer of Team Shakira and TJ Wilkins of Team Usher getting the least votes, and the audience gave another chance to Tess through Instant Save.

Almost all the remaining contestants gave good performances during the live show on Monday night but it was Christina Grimmie, Audra McLaughlin and Sisaundra Lewis, who stood out from the pack.

Team Adam: Kat Perkins performed Fleetwod Mac's "Landslide" and it was an average performance. However, Christina Grimmie stunned the audience with a wonderful rendition of Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home". Delvin Choice's rendition of Gary Clark Jr.'s "Bright Lights" was also good.

Team Blake: Audra McLaughlin received praises from the coaches for her rendition of Reba McEntire's "You Lie", while Jake Worthington was not very impressive with his performance of George Strait's "Run". Sisaundra Lewis stole the hearts of the coaches once again with her rendition of Steve Perry's "Oh Sherrie".

Team Shakira: Tess Boyer sang Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" this week. Her performance was good but the song choice was bad. Kristen Merlin sang Passenger's "Let Her Go", earning praises from the coaches.

Team Usher: Josh Kaufman sang Kenny Loggins' "This Is It" and it was a forgettable performance. Bria Kelly's rendition of Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You" was good but she would have done better, had she chosen a song that suits her voice.
