Arya's "Settai", which was released worldwide on 5 April, has been doing average business at the box office.

"Settai", a remake of Bollywood film "Delhi Belly" received mixed reviews from film critics as well as moviegoers. While the original Hindi film had some adult content, the storyline of the Tamil version was tweaked slightly to suit the taste of audience in South India.

The movie has fetched ₹29.90 lakh in the UK and ₹41.81 lakh in the US after the second weekend. "Tamil film #Settai *total after 2nd Weekend* UK £ 35,671 [₹29.90 lacs] ... USA $ 76,665 [₹41.81 lacs]," film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"Settai" is about three friends - Arya, Santhanam and Premgi Amaren - who are chased by gangsters after a packet of stool sample gets mixed up with another packet of stolen diamonds that belongs to the villain group.

After the success of "Boss Engira Bhaskaran", Arya and Santhanam teamed up again to star in "Settai" directed by R Kannan. The duo was joined by another popular comedian Premgi Amaren. Depsite the presence of an interesting star cast, the film succeeded in evoking laughter only in parts.

Hansika Motawni and Anjali play the female leads. While Hansika appears as an air hostess, Anjali plays a Mumbai-based journalist who is working for an English daily. The rest of the film's cast includes Nassar and Sayaji Shinde in pivotal roles, while Neetu Chandra makes a special appearance. S Thaman scored the music for the film.

"Settai" was dubbed in Telugu as "Crazy" and released a week later on 12 April.
