Popular comedian Kapil Sharma's dream of hosting famous celebs and icons have almost been fulfilled apart from a prominent few.

Recently Sharma's admired show "Comedy Nights with Kapil" (CNWK) hosted the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. The megastar graced the television show for the promotion of his upcoming film "Bhoothnath Returns".

Sharma, who shot with the senior actor on his 33rd birthday, was more than happy to share the stage on his special day with the legend as he shared the news with his fans on his social networking accounts.

"I am very excited. Every actor dreams of working with Mr. Bachchan and now that he is coming on our show, it's a very big thing for me," the actor told The Times of India.

"CNWK" has till date featured almost all the biggest names of the industry including superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar among others.

However, the comedian has now expressed his desire to host cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in his show and give him a good time much like other celebs. The actor revealed that he has already invited the Little Master to his show and is keeping his fingers crossed.

"Every actor wishes to work with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, so now that it has already happened because of "Comedy Nights with Kapil", I would like to host Sachin Tendulkar on my show. I met Sachin sir sometime back at the Mumbai police function and also invited him to come to my show. I will be really happy, if he comes," wished Sharma on his birthday.

Previously, cricket stars like Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag have appeared in the show and it remains to be seen whether Tendulkar obliges to Sharma's earnest request.

The comedian had also wished to host Southern superstar and legend Rajinikanth in his show. With "Kochadaiyaan" nearing its release date, it remains to be seen whether the superstar promotes his film on Sharma's popular telly show.
