For quite some time now, television actress Shivangi Joshi, who plays the role of Naira on "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and is ruling the hearts of millions with her acting talent, has been in the news for wrong reasons.
The actress has been linked with her co-star Mohsin Khan aka Kartik. Rumour had it that the actors spent a lot of time together in their vanity van, which eventually forced Shivangi's mother to accompany her on the sets and keep an eye on the alleged lovebirds. Despite Shivangi's mother's strict vigilance, the actress reportedly took advantage of the elderly lady's absence from the sets recently and locked herself with Mohsin in his vanity van.
The rumours have definitely hurt Shivangi and her family deeply. In an interview with Tellychakkar.com, the actress said that her silence on the initial dating rumours has been taken as her weakness. "This has gone so far because we never replied to the first news that came out a couple of months back about our linkup. But our silence has been taken as our weakness and is being exploited now. A particular news channel reported about confirmed news of our dating," Shivangi said.
"When we contacted them, they came on set and apologized. They accepted their fault and agreed to put up an apology, which they never did. Since then, we had not given our interviews to them, as we were awaiting their apology. Just because we refused to give them bytes, they have stooped down to this level," she added.
Nevertheless, the gorgeous actress said that she would get over such rumours and continue entertaining her fans and the audience with her work. Contrary to the reports, Shivangi clarified that Mohsin shared a great equation with her mother. In fact, when the team were shooting in Rishikesh, her mother took care of Mohsin like a son.
