Star Plus hit show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has managed to keep its viewers entertained by bringing in new twists and turns in the show.
From the very beginning, the chemistry between Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel) has been loved by many. Although Ishita initially got married to Raman because of her motherly love to the latter's daughter Ruhi, the couple also got close together.
Ishita and Raman's chemistry too have hit the right chord among the viewers, making them one of the favourite on-screen couples.
However, due to Karan's busy work schedule - as he is hosting "Nach Baliye season 7" and his wedding to Ankita Bhargava is on 3 May - the actor seems to have taken a back seat in the popular daily soap.
Therefore, the show has brought in a new man in Ishita's life, Subbu (Amit Tandon), who will supposedly create a rift in Ishita and Raman's relationship.
Subbu was Ishita's childhood sweetheart and the duo had even gotten engaged long before she met Raman.
But their relationship never resulted in marriage as Subbu wanted children after marriage, but learnt that Ishita can never bear children. This made Subbu call off their wedding.
However, he has finally realised his mistake and played a major role in reuniting Ishita with Ruhi.
Interestingly, woman activist Sujata - who helped bringing Ishita and Ruhi closer - is Subbu's mother-in-law.
