Star Parivaar Awards 2016, which was held on April 27 in Mumbai, ended on a grand note and saw the presence of several celebrities from the television industry. The prestigious award ceremony, which recognises talented actors from Star Plus, honoured several actors for their excellent performances.

Divyanka Tripathi, who plays the role of Ishita Bhalla in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," walked away with six trophies. It was the highest number of awards someone bagged this year. Elated to receive the honour, the gorgeous actress told Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) that she was surprised that the show got awards for every category in which it was nominated.

Divyanka further said that the actors are incomplete without the love and blessings of their fans. "I was surprised to see most of the awards coming to our show ('Ye Hai Mohabbatein'). Every category in which we were nominated has won the title. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team. Also, I want to thank my fans because we as actors are incomplete without them. Their love and blessings make us complete, [sic]" IANS quoted Divyanka as saying.

The actress also shared a picture of her trophies on her Instagram page with a caption that read: "#MySixPack #StarPariwarAwards2016."

Divyanka looked stunning in a blue attire and won awards in categories such as Favourite Bahu, Favourite Maa and Favourite Patni among others. The actress shared some of the awards with her on-screen husband Karan Patel. Besides "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," Ashish Sharma aka Ram of "Siya Ke Ram," Varun Badola aka Raghav Srivastav of "Mere Angne Mein," and Anita Hassanandani aka Shagun of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" walked away with trophies.

Meanwhile Divyanka, who got engaged to her "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" co-star Vivek Dahiya in a hush-hush ceremony, is likely to tie the knot in July this year. Also, there were reports that the lovebirds were planning an elaborate Hindu traditional wedding, which will be held either in Chandigarh or Bhopal.
