Update June 21, 2016 1:00 pm IST â€“ Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is back in stock in India. The budget smartphone is available only on the company's official online store in silver and grey shades. While the base model (2GB+16GB) is still out of stock, the high-end version (3GB+32GB) is up for grabs now.

Original Story â€“ Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is one of the most popular budget premium smartphones in India. It has proven its worth through a series of flash and open sales since its launch in March. Despite stiff competition from companies like LeEco, Lenovo, Motorola, Coolpad and Meizu, Xiaomi has managed to keep up its demand for the Redmi Note 3. But it seems the company is unable to fulfill the demand in India as the handset is no longer available for purchase.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was available in weekly flash sales before the company started open sales for the handset through its own website. Alternatively, the handset was also sold via Amazon India. But when we checked the handset's availability, we found it was out of stock on both Amazon.in and mi.com.

When we reached out to Xiaomi for a comment on the Redmi Note 3's availability, the company spokesperson told International Business Times, India, that the budget smartphone will be available soon.

Alongside the Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi was also selling the Mi 5 on its official website, but recently expanded the flagship's availability through Amazon India, Flipkart and Snapdeal. Xiaomi Mi 5 is available openly through Flipkart and Amazon, but listed as out of stock on the company's official website.

The company did not give any reason behind the unavailability of its Redmi Note 3. It is, however, hosting an event in India on June 30 to unveil its Mi Max phablet. The new handset is also a budget premium device with features matching the price range of a sub-Rs. 15,000 device. It could be possible that Xiaomi is focusing on the Mi Max launch right now, and most likely restock the Redmi Note 3 for its buyers next month.
