Sports drama "Sultan," starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma, had a good second week run at the box office and is now set to cross Rs. 550 crore mark worldwide. Also, "Sultan" is set to beat the worldwide box office collection record of one of last year's biggest blockbuster "Baahubali: The Beginning."

"Sultan" worldwide box office collection as of July 21 stands at Rs. 522.06 crore gross, which includes Rs. 386.06 crore gross (Rs. 277.96 crore nett) 16-day domestic earnings and 12-day overseas earnings of Rs. 136 crore. This makes "Sultan" the fifth biggest grosser of all time globally and soon it will shatter the records of Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" and Prabhas-starrer "Baahubali."

The top four grossers of all time are Aamir's "PK" with Rs. 792 crore global income, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" with Rs. 626 crore, "Baahubali" with Rs. 586.45 crore and "Dhoom 3" with Rs. 542 crore. "Sultan" requires just Rs. 20 crore to beat "Dhoom 3" record and approximately Rs. 64 crore to break "Baahubali" records.

Trade experts are positive that the Salman-Anushka starrer will overtake "Dhoom 3" and "Baahubali" lifetime box office collection records, but they are doubtful about "Sultan" beating "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "PK" records.

Meanwhile at the domestic box office, the film earned Rs. 277.96 crore in its two-week run. The box office collection of the film dropped by approximately 78.68 percent in its second week, following which it minted only Rs. 48.80 crore.
