Yash Raj Films happens to be one of the biggest production houses in Bollywood. However, it seems like YRF has lost its glory and its only saviour appears to be Salman Khan.

Aditya Chopra-owned YRF has been bearing a series of flops for the past couple of years. Apart from Salman-starrer Sultan, none of the other YRF movies since 2014 have made any impact at the box office. As many as 13 movies, the last one being Meri Pyaari Bindu, have been released under the YRF banner since 2014.

Only Sultan in 2016 turned out to be a blockbuster, while all other 12 movies were either average or flops at the box office. The list of films produced by YRF from 2014 are Gunday, Aaha Kalyanam, Bewakoofiyaan, Titli, Mardaani, Daawat-e-Ishq, Kill Dil, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Fan, Sultan, Befikre and Meri Pyaari Bindu.

While Fan was an average box office grosser, considering it to be a Shah Rukh Khan's movie, it is only Sultan that became a super hit. All other YRF movies from 2014 are either flops or just average box office earners.

Moreover, the much hyped movie Befikre, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, had brought Aditya back as the director after a long time. However, it turned out to be one of the biggest disasters in the history of YRF. Now, the recently-released Meri Pyaari Bindu, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra, is also doing dull business at the box office.

In such a scenario, it seems only Salman can help YRF to come back in the competition with his upcoming movie Tiger Zinda Hai. The much-awaited sequel of Ek Tha Tiger is YRF's next production venture. This movie will also bring back the iconic pairing of Salman and Katrina Kaif back on screen.

Salman has been having a very successful phase with back-to-back blockbusters. First Bajrangi Bhaijaan, then Sultan, and now he is all set to hit the silver screen with Tiger Zinda Hai. So, will Salman's Tiger Zinda Hai end YRF's streak of flops? Most likely it will. Leave your comments below.
