Ajith's talent in photography has gradually started grabbing the attention of people. He has recently been seen clicking photos of his friends and associates, with whom the actor is working. Now, he has used his skills to help a National Award winning actor.
The "Mankatha" star has done a photoshoot of Appukutty aka Sivabalan, who won the National Award for Supporting Role in "Azhagar Saamiyin Kudhirai". Ajith Kumar met the budding star while working with him in "Veeram".
During one of the casual chats, Ajith asked Appukutty that despite winning the National Award why he was not seen in films often. The budding star told Ajith that people choose him for the movies set in rural backdrop and such flicks are not made in Kollywood often.
Ajith then suggested that in order to get all kinds of films, one should shed their regular image and try to fit into the needs of the industry. The "Arrambam" star advised him to go for an image makeover.
"He suggested working on my look with a stylist and getting a photo session done before trying for urban roles. I told him that I did not know anyone and nobody would do it for me. It was then that he told me that he would do it for me," the Times of India quoted Appukutty as saying.
A few days ago, Ajith arranged a photoshoot and brought in a stylist and makeup artist for Appukutty and created the portfolio of the budding star. Once the photo session was done, Sivabalan was pleasantly surprised to see his pictures.
However, this photoshoot has paved way for rumours that Ajith was doing a short film with Appukutty. This news has been denied by the actor's PR. Meanwhile, the actor is busy with his next film "Thala 56", directed by Siruthai Siva.
