U Mumba (orange/black) stop a Telugu Titans raider in their previous game of the Pro Kabaddi League this yearPro Kabaddi League

League leaders U Mumba arrive on the scene once again as they take on Dabang Delhi in their first game of the Patna leg of the Pro Kabaddi League 2015 at the Patliputra Sports Complex.

With six wins from the same number of games, there will be no stopping the previous year's finalists in the game today as the Delhi side  are underdogs going into the game.

More so, after the Dabang Delhi lost by a whopping 17 points against the Patna Pirates in their game yesterday.

Rohit Kumar Chaudhary was the only bright spot in the Delhi team against the Patna side, and star raider Kashiling Adake was a total failure. It was Deepak Narwal who stole the hearts of the home fans after a spectacular display on the day which helped record a 39-22 scoreline in favour of the Pirates.

At one point in the second half, the scoreboard read 24-8 in favour of the hosts, but the little bit of a comeback that was made by the Delhi side was owed to the efforts of defensive all-rounder Shrikant Tewthia and Chaudhary, who didn't give up until the end.

Delhi may be still in fourth spot at the moment, but they might slip to the fifth position at the end of Saturday if the Pirates notch up another win against Puneri Paltan in the other match of the day.

And a full five points for the Delhi side against the Mumbai side looks like a herculean task.

The names of the heavyweights at U Mumba don't seem to end as the team have performed brilliantly as a unit. However, skipper Anup Kumar and Shabbir Bapu have been on a different level altogether.

The partnership of Mohit Chhillar and Jeeva Kumar in defence is also expected to to be a factor.

"Anup and Jeeva carry so much experience behind them that you don't need to stress them on anything. Plus, they have had more than six weeks of pre-season training, which is sufficient in such a competitive league. A little bit of mental conditioning too goes a long way," U Mumba physiotherapist, Swapnil Mate, was quoted as saying.

And Anup preferred to keep it cool prior to the game -

Translated from Gujrati: "Will play kabaddi, and drink coconut water. Will enjoy life..."

The match gets underway at 8 pm IST (3:30pm BST).
