The making video of the much awaited Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly, Bhavana starrer "Ivide" directed by Shyamaprasad has been released. The video introduces the lead actors of the movie and gives a sneak peek into behind the scenes of the flick, which is shot completely in USA.
The video proves that the director has approached his story and characters in a completely new way.
The movie, which is touted as a crime thriller, has its major crew from international circuits. The story of "Ivide" is based on the serial killing of IT techies in major US cities and Prithviraj will play Varun Blake, a cop of Indian origin in the Atlanta police department. Nivin Pauly will play a character named Krish Hebbar and Bhavana plays Roshni Mathew.
"Ivide" has majority of its cast from the US and features Shaun Xavier, Prakash Bare, Dhanish Karthik, Deepti Nai, Haridev, Sunil Veettil, Tim Naddy, Juan Alexander, Kirstein Gilber and Robin Cole in major roles. Taking into consideration the US actors' inconvenience in dubbing, the film is shot in sync sound like Shyamaprasad's previous movies "Arike", "English" and "Artist".
The scripting of the upcoming crime thriller is done by Ajayan Venugopal and the film is said to be one of the costliest Malayalam films in recent times.
Nivin Pauly is currently basking on the success of his recent movie "Vadakkan Selfie" and the upcoming movie is expected to be yet another milestone in his career. The young star has earlier worked with Shyamaprasad for the 2013 film "English: An Autumn in London". The film was also scripted by Ajayan and received good reviews from critics.
Prithviraj had worked with "Ritu" director for the highly noticed film "Akale" in 2004. This film received many prestigious awards, including National Awards, Kerala State Awards and Filmfare Awards South.
For actress Bhavana, the last release was 2014 movies "Angry Babies in Love" and the new movie is expected to see a credible performance.
At the pre-production stages of "Ivide", it was announced that Fahadh Faasil and Nyla Usha would play the lead roles along with Prithviraj, but this was later cancelled.
The cinematography of "Ivide" is done by Eric Dickinson and IS produced by Dr S Sajikumar under the banner of Dharmik Films.
